Can library amplification be carried out in the provided 96-well plate for the xGen Unique Dual Index Primer Pairs?

We do not recommend performing library amplification directly in the 96-well plate used to deliver the xGen Unique Dual Index Primer Pairs.

While the amount of indexing primers in each well is enough for 1 reaction, extra indexing primer is provided to ensure there is sufficient material. Including the excess primers will increase the risk of forming primer dimers during PCR.
